For makeup geeks with a budget!

This blog includes many images of makeup inspiration from runways, magazines, and everyday people as well as reviews by me on products in mostly drugstore price ranges.

Face: ELF High Definition Powder, $6
It’s a white, translucent powder that gives your skin an extremely matte finish
The powder itself feels really light, although I don’t really use it because I don’t normally use powder and it really, really makes you look all matte
Your skin looks almost too perfect, almost not real
I’ve found an alternative use for it though!!! Use it to make a glossy lipstick matte!
It doesn’t feel dry, but instead it gives the lipstick a suede-like finish, like Revlon’s matte lipsticks
Quite a bit of powder is needed, depending on how glossy the lipstick might be
Quick Review: I don’t use it as a face powder too often, but I love using it to make all lipsticks matte!
